Whether you have studied music for many years or have just begun your studies, you are welcome to join this group.  All students learning to play any instrument and learning with a teacher are welcome to join.   We also welcome those who are seriously thinking about it but would like to have support to take that first step!

Upcoming Bi-Weekly Meetings
Saturday, September 16th At Steinway 11am- 1pm

The next meetings are:​​

  • Saturday, September 30th,2023 on Zoom (tentative)

  • Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Steinway 11 am - 1 pm 

  • Saturday, October 28, 2023 on Zoom 12 - 2 pm (tentative)

Please Note: All in person meetings will take place at our venue of choice, the Calgary Piano Gallery Recital Hall, unless otherwise specified.  Only group members or guests who have notified the ALMSG Leadership team of their trial visit will be allowed entry.   Masks can be worn at the discretion of each member's comfort level and personal preference - please sit six feet apart from others. All in-person Steinway meetings will be Zoomed as well so that all members will be able to participate regardless of location.

Collaborations 

Many of our group members are collaborating on a music piece  "The Water is Wide" on the app Acapella.  Kaylene is heading this project so if you want more information and/or would like to be a part of the project, please contact Kaylene.

The NYMF runs April 14-30
